Eternal gates opened light unto fears escape

As feelings at hand began to take shape

Filtering the lies that stirred frightened hearts

While peace and understanding the Lord imparts

Freedom seeks to cover a life of despair

As the Holy Spirit starts to willingly share

With feelings of comfort to take off the edge

Awaiting acceptance as you take the pledge

Laying down the old man, to seek the new

You’ll find your past is out of view

A fresh start is given to a brand new day

For His word is in your heart to stay

Each step you venture is not on your own

For the Lord is with you, you’re not alone

So walk in His comfort as peace is your guide

Knowing you’re walking with Him by your side
